The Missions team as with all the teams at First Baptist Church Wolcott uses the BIO approach:

BEFORE God – our prayers & petitions are placed before God first, then we move as directed by Him in word, action and deed to carry out His purposes.

IN Community – In unity with God and one another we meet needs, encourage learning and growth, share His love – building relationship with Him and one another.

ON Mission – going forth to helping and serving others, teaching about God’s love and provision, inviting, encouraging and reaching out to those around us and beyond.

Local Missions and Community Service

The funds God provides us we use locally with Food Pantry, Clothing Center, NRW Youth Center, CareNet of Wayne County, Family Promise of Wayne Co., Laurel House & Pines of Peace (Comfort Care homes), VBS, Local Assists, Support of Local EMS (emergent medical services). Local assists, Veteran Programs, Project Graduation & Senior Center.
